Desired profile
Systems programming skills, coursework in operating systems

Knowledge and hands on development experience on operating systems.

Experience with system and/or application development on Linux is desirable.

Proficiency in C/C++, good problem solving, debugging skills and quick learner with good judgment.

The Database Security R&D team at Oracle is responsible for developing security technologies that provide defense-in-depth for sensitive business data. We pride ourselves in building technologies that are transparent to the applications that use the database, adds negligible overhead, and integrates well with customer's existing infrastructure. Organizations from Homeland security, Application Cloud Services, financial, defense and healthcare sectors are using offerings from our group to secure and monitor access to their data.

We are working in exciting areas of Security Cloud Services, Data Masking and Sub-setting (DMS), Application Data Modelling, Cloud Security, Securing Big Data, Security Analytic s, Data Privacy, Secure Configuration and more. We are also developing next generation of Authentication and Authorization technologies for the Database Cloud environment. Our group is the perfect home for someone passionate about building security solutions that scale, perform, and most importantly keeping a few steps ahead of hackers and malicious insiders.

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks extra.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.
