Software Development
Engineer: Plans, designs, develops and tests software systems or applications
for software enhancements and new products. Most companies should be able to
match to a specific software development engineer position. Use this position
if company does not breakout software development positions such as Software
Engineer (Applications) (5141-5146) or Software Engineer (Systems) (5161-5166).
Software Engineer
with 2 to 5 years of experience in Java/J2EE programming, Spring framework,
Spring Boot
Experience in Core
java will be a plus
Experience in Mongo
DB
A strong
understanding of advance algorithms, data structures, security and code
practices
Experience in
development of Web based or Mobile software applications
Knowledge &
experience of Netapp Storage System operating systems such as Data ONTAP or
E-Series Operating System (EOS)
Knowledge &
exposure of few of the latest technologies: Big Data Analytics, Data Mining,
Cloud Computing, Machine Learning
Experience in
building automation framework preferably Selenium WebDriver, REST & SOAP
automation will be a plus
Good to have
experience in AWS, Openshift or Kubernetes container management.
Experience in
Jenkins and Bitbucket and should be able to debug issues
Exposure to working
in an agile development environment and have understanding of product
development life cycle
Knowledge of
Atlassian tools like Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence and any bug tracking tool
Creative approach to
problem solving and flexible to learn new technologies
Strong oral and
written communication skills are essential
Typically requires a
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an
advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.
