Required Skills:
Possess a minimum of 1-3 years experience in performance, scalability & reliability testing using automation tools - preferably LoadRunner / Oracle Application Testing Suite /

WinRunner / QuickTestPro

Strong analytical, diagnostic and problem solving skills.

Ability to prioritize work based upon continuous new input and changing business needs. Must be proactive in problem solving.

Experience in CPU & memory profiling tools like 
Quantify/Purify/GlowCode/JProbe/JProfiler would be an added advantage.

Knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL) and scripting languages (unix shell scripting, perl, java programming) an added advantage.

Work experience with large cross functional teams.

Ability to work independently and meet objectives within release timeframe

Educational Qualification: Possess Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer science discipline. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Desired profile
Analyze, design develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for commercial or end user applications. Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications. As a member of the software engineering division, you will perform detailed design based on provided high level design specifications. Assist in system planning, scheduling and implementation. Build enhancements (including new product features) and resolve bugs. Build and execute unit test and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Interact with QA and porting engineering about problems in the code. Duties and tasks are standard with some variation; displays understanding of roles, processes and procedures. Performs moderately complex problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and processes. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 1 year of software engineering or related experience.

As a member of the Performance Engineering organization, you will:

Developing and documenting test plans/cases.

Developing automation scripts using LoadRunner/QTP or other automation tool as may be required for the project.

Executing performance, scalability, reliability and system tests.

Compile, analyze and report test results.

Execute documented test activities, including system, performance, regression and cross platform testing.

Provide timely and accurate work and progress status via the quality system, status reports and meetings.

Use standard profiling tools to identify and fix CPU, Memory and Network bottlenecks.

Log defects and work with relevant teams to track them to closure.

Work with various development and product marketing teams related to projects.

Communicating interactively and effectively with English speaking team members in different time zones.

Ability to work independently and meet objectives within release timeframe.

Developing and documenting test plans/cases.

Developing automation scripts using LoadRunner/QTP or other automation tool as may be required for the project.

Executing performance, scalability, reliability and system tests.
