Job Description:
The Manager, Facilities and Site Services, India is responsible for
the delivery of all aspects of facilities management, project management and
site services (administration and office management) for all SanDisk offices
located in India. This position will liaise with local and corporate leadership
to establish an overall strategic facilities plan and execute the plan within
the framework of the global facilities plan, budget and service delivery
methodology.
Responsible for all design, tenant build outs, and facility management
within the city of Bangalore
Responsible for upkeep of office facilities to Sales team in Delhi
Responsible for the delivery of all workplace services within the
region including building operations, administration, reception, mail services,
security and office management
Develop detailed operating budgets for each office within corporate
performance metrics and manage each line of service within established budgets
Define goals and objectives for outsourced service providers and
manage their performance against defined goals
Educate and set reasonable expectations for company leadership, their
management teams and all SanDisk employees about the facilities process,
schedule and costs
Develop and maintain strong alliances and effective communication
channels at all levels within the region
Ensure continual process improvement of Real Estate and Facilities
delivery model
Perform financial analysis of projects and prepare recommendations the
management team
Generate reports, presentations and business cases
Ensure regional service quality and client satisfaction
Management of food and vending services
Plans, budgets and schedules facility modifications, including
estimates on equipment, labor, materials and other related costs
Oversees the coordination of building space allocation and layout,
communication services and facilities expansion
May have responsibility for establishing and overseeing safety
standards
Provide project management and oversight of renovation and new design
/ construction projects
Participate in SanDisks planning processes to develop accurate
operating expense and capital expenditure forecasts
Identify and address process improvement opportunities in SanDisk
facilities
Maximize efficiencies while ensuring compliance with internal
processes and controls
Desire Profile:
Bachelors degree from a mid to top tier school in related field (i.e.
engineering, business, etc.),
10+ years experience managing facilities functions and contracted
services
Experience with campus development projects required experience in
service industry (Hotel/large FM companies) is a big plus
Experience in a high-tech, fast paced environment preferred
At least (3) years with infrastructure design and construction
projects, including new facility design & construction, renovations &
upgrades of existing facilities
Knowledge and experience in budgeting, procurement, vendor
negotiations, vendor performance monitoring, and general services management
Understanding of standard practices in the design and construction
industry, including working knowledge of building codes and regulations,
scheduling and cost monitoring and conceptual estimating
Excellent project management skills and demonstrated construction
field experience working with contractors, building officials, inspectors, etc.
Demonstrated success purchasing commodities common to facilities
Demonstrated skills in developing and reporting process metrics
Excellent follow-through
Excellent planning and problem solving skills with the ability to work
in a fast paced and limited resource environment. Dynamic, motivated, and
results oriented creative thinker. Ability to coordinate priorities and
initiatives. Outstanding management skills, including diplomacy, clear
communication style and employee development. High level of skill in
developing, mentoring, empowering, managing, and supporting staff. The ideal
individual must have proven ability to achieve results in a fast paced, dynamic
environment. Ability to multi-task, meets deadlines, and work effectively
cross-functionally. Excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal, and
team leadership skills are required.
