Group: Oracle India Pvt Ltd, Bangalore

Applied Engineering Team is a development team in Oracle Managed Cloud Services(OMCS) LOB. This team takes care of development of Applications, tools and automation solutions for OMCS Operation Teams. Team members skill set includes - Java/J2EE, Perl/Shell Scripting, OBIEE Reporting, etc. This team is expanding and is looking for developers with excellent expertise in mentioned areas.

PERL/Shell Scripting Developers
As a member of development team, candidate should be able to design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools on different operating systems( e.g. Linux,Windows).
Specific skills needed are:
Proficiency in Perl and Shell scripting (must-have)

Experience in TCL scripting ( nice-to-have)

Demonstrable experience with CGI, HTML/CSS/JavaScript (nice-to-have)

Experience with relational database application development, Oracle preferred (must-have)

Knowledge or familiarity with PHP (nice-to-have)

Exposure to PL/SQL (nice-to-have)

Proficiency with Linux environments (must-have)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills (must-have)

Ability to work on projects with geographically distributed teams (must-have)

Ability and desire to learn new technologies quickly (must-have)
