Job Description
Design / develop IO blocks that are incorporated by product realization team into integrated circuits.

Analyze/develop specifications for high-speed IO buffers, guaranteeing interoperability of LSI's ICs with those of other manufacturers.

Convert IO specifications into circuit designs that are competitive in terms of cost, performance, and time to market.

Generate ancillary support files such as datasheets, application notes, test strategy etc...

Work with internal BU's and customers providing integration support into chip level IC

Duties will include working with Product Development Team to create (design, layout, and evaluate) new circuit architectures and modify existing circuit architectures, verify functionality of designs, prepare and present Design reviews to internal groups and external customers and write technical reports.

Desired Profile
Education plus experience:
Bachelors in EE with 7-9+ years related experience Or Masters in EE with 5-7+ years related experience

Functional/Industry Knowledge:
Proven Analog Design Skills

Tools: Proficient in CMOS transistor simulation tools such as Spectre and HSPICE, Schematic Capture tools such as Cadence Composer, LVS/DRC tools such as Calibre or Hercules.

Ability to understand IO industry standards set by Standards committees such as American National Standards Institute - examples JEDEC, DDR3, LVDS

Proficient in developing scripting code in languages such as Pearl, Ocean, Shell etc...

Proven experimental skills and lab/bench expertise

Strong written and verbal communication skills
