Job Description
Develops software as the primary
job function; Designs, develops, debugs & tests complex software in any
field e.g., systems software, software development tools, applications,
drivers, numerical methods, UI's, web. May work directly with companies developing
and optimizing compilers, operating systems, and other software technologies.
Usually holds an academic degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or
Computational Science.
The candidate will be
responsible for enabling Android on new form-factor devices. Responsibilities
include, but are not limited to:
working with Intel software
developers from various teams and sites for development of new use cases.
debugging software issues.
working directly with customers
to help launch new devices to market.
Desired Profile
3+ years of software development
experience in Linux kernel or middleware frameworks on SoC, Silicon
architectecture - Intel architecture experience would be a plus.
Expertise in one or more of the
following areas - Secure boot and Secure playback, Power Management, Audio,
Display, Graphics, Peripheral device drivers.
Prior experience in Android
would be a plus.
Good logic analysis capability
on troubleshooting technical issues.
Good communication & team
work.
