Role: Teradata Sr ConsultantGroup: Information Management
ConsultingInformation Management ( IM) is one of the major service lines within
Technology practice of Deloitte US India Consulting org. Service lines are
composed of capabilities, of which IM has five, all of them focused on helping
clients manage and leverage their information. IM focuses on Business
Intelligence / Data Warehousing, Enterprise Content Management, Web Channel
Solutions, Enterprise Data Management and Performance Management Technologies.
Minimum of 7- 8+ years strong NCR Teradata and SQL, Data Warehouse
Modeling, Aggregates and building efficient views
Proficient with utilities like Teradata SQL Assistant, Teradata
Manager, Teradata Administration, Teradata design, DBA and Unix Scripting.
Certification in Teradata and Teradata SQL preferred.
Must be able to successfully:
Use Teradata utilities fastload, multiload, tpump to load data.
Write BTEQ scripts to transform data.
Write Fastexport scripts to export data.
Write, test and implement Teradata Fastload, Multiload and Bteq
scripts, DML and DDL.
Write views based on user and/ or reporting requirements.
SQL proficient.
Role: Datastage Consultant
Provide expert knowledge of Datastage best practices enabling the team
to leverage the platform as effectively as possible.
Provide technical leadership to help influence the short and longer
term Datastage roadmap
Handle consulting initiatives right from requirement gathering to
implementation of solutions
Excellent knowledge on Parallel Jobs
Good knowledge on Unix and Wql
Minimum 5 years of experience in Datastage
Have good consulting and implementation experience using Datastage
Good understanding of Datastage
Should have worked on parallel jobs
Good knowledge of unix and sqlWork Location: Hyderabad/ Bangalore
