Job Description
The candidate should have 9-13 years of experience in the IT industry with 2-4 years of experience in leading the QA team.

Hands on experience and expertise on Windows platform at system level. (Ok For Linux as well) & software knowledge.

Good understanding of and experience on multiple technologies (programming languages and platforms).

Ability to understand multiple products at a high level and the synergy in technology across products.

Extensive knowledge of the implementation of the full product lifecycle and testing lifecycle.

Work closely with Development Team in tracking the Requirements, Test plan creation and Test Reviews

Ability to identify risks and issues and communicate risks along with mitigations in a timely manner

Strong understanding of QA metrics

Ability to have good cross team and cross site communication.

Knowledge on Test scope creations and Tracking in Functional and Non-functional areas

Should have implemented or managed automation and white box testing efforts.

Strong customer focus.

Extensive knowledge of the SCRUM or Agile Methodology is a strong plus.

Experience with Networking is highly desired.

Able to ensure that all aspects of a product building and release are considered and achieved- lots of cross team and cross site communication

Excellent project management skills. Able to track risks and issues and communicate in a timely manner to management.

Should have handled a team of at least 15 members.

Ability to effectively balance management and teams expectations.

Ability to effectively manage multiple products across multi-sites.

Able to be strategic in his/ her approach to problems- looking at problems for long term solutions, not just the immediate fixes.

Able to communicate management expectations and manage multiple teams for delivery.

Able to walk the talk and be the role model for people in their teams/organization.

Desired Profile
To define scope and drive quality initiatives to Host DLP product which has several components such as support for Windows, support for Mac and Discover.

In addition MCP, Compatibility and CC testing should be supported and co-ordinate.
