Job Description
This is a Finance Risk & Controls specialist position reporting to
the APAC Finance Risk & Controls team which has members located in various
APAC sites. The employee is responsible to lead India\'s Risk & Controls
roadmap, which involves leading a number of different initiatives to ensure
that Intel India\'s business groups are meeting business objectives with
reasonable controls in place to mitigate business risks and to keep Intel
legal. The business groups to be covered may be India Intel Development Centre
(IIDC), India SMG and India IMC. The key controls of these business groups
revolve around areas of Intellectual Property, ODCs/CWs, marketing spending,
Disti/customers, HR, procurement, Labs, Export Compliance, etc.
The role requires interactions with senior site staff including India
site GM, South Asia SMG Director and IMC site GM. He/she will lead the India
Site Controls MRC, be an active participant in various site\'s controls-focused
task forces and lead/facilitate activities related to setting Ethics &
Compliance tone in India. He/she also represents India in E&C Forums and
WW/Regional Product Group forums.
The employee is also expected to collaborate closely with other
members in the APAC Finance Risk & Controls team and other Asia/worldwide
Risk & Controls community.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Design risk assessments, develop audit programs , execute testing and
report out results for operational audits in key business focus areas as listed
above. This requires the employees to perform well-researched knowledge of the
business under review.
Review/maintain annual risk assessments and testing of controls
Influence and negotiate control improvements with appropriate business
owners
Ensure that identified control gaps are resolved
Support audits led by Internal Audit org and represent India in
various Risk& Controls and E&C Forums
Desired Profile
The successful candidate will have demonstrated an ability to lead
cross group teams with strong project management experience, great communication
skills and strong stakeholder management skills. Candidates should also be org
savvy, reasonably detailed-oriented yet able to step back to up-level the
details to a holistic business-impact picture for management, have systems
aptitude,and have demonstrated a high tolerance to ambiguity and possibility
thinking, as the role requires them to navigate through many different
potential Risk & Controls initiatives and to identify those that are the
highest risk and the highest value add to the organization.
Prior experience in Risk & Controls and Risk Management is an
advantage.
