Job Description
Provide engineering expertise for complex projects. Plan, schedule,
and conduct detailed phases of engineering work. Work involves various complex
features, which may include conflicting design/performance objectives,
unsuitable for standard materials or difficult coordination. Provide guidance
to more junior engineers. Serve as an highly accountable technical resource on
a product process or problem area.
Desired Profile
Required Skills:
Following technical proficiency is required: IO design, ESD and
latchup Be familiar with industry standard IO's and protocols (TTL,SPI, I2C
etc) Familiarity with synchronous IOs like DDR and serdes like USB is a plus
Familiarity with analog design is a plus (differential amplifiers, simple
regulators opamps) Following experience is required: Ability to engage with
company architects and provide feedback on IO roadmaps Ability to take
conflicting and challenging IO requirements from different groups and negotiate
for most efficient technical solution Ability to contribute to the IO COE group's
productivity by improving the design process Ability to technically supervise
and manage deadlines on complex IO projects Experience with having designed
multiple production quality IO's (general purpose or high speed)
