Candidate should be having L2/L3
Support, if L2 currently should be 2 years minimum.
Monitor the backups involving
multiple backup tools.
Troubleshoot the backup job
failures
Prepare daily, weekly and monthly
backup reports
Resolve Incidents, Problem Records
and Service Requests within the SLA
Perform media management
activities
Monitor tape drives and
troubleshoot the malfunctioning drives
Configure library robot and tape
drives
Perform housekeeping activities
for free disk space and backup database optimization
Configuring backups policies as
per the service request
Restore the backed up data as per
the request
Raise vendor support calls as and
when required and coordinate with multiple teams to resolve the issues as and
when required
Involve in change
approval/denial/implementation process in coordination with senior resources
Work with Team leads for up
skilling
Build the Knowledge base and get
it approved by the Team leads
