Job Description: In
this position, the individual will manage day to day operations on the GDC.
They will also manage relationship with vendors/partners from whom we source
contract workforce. The individual will manage/build relationships with
internal stakeholders (IT Management team in US). Will be responsible for
negotiations of all contracts/SOW with vendors, as well as, IT support to the
R&D engineers in Bangalore center. Manage/build relationships with internal
stakeholders(Functional Management Team in India). Will need to further develop
the IT Training Competency Center and IT QA team and ensure state of art
delivery from these teams. Will periodically report on performance of GDC to
stakeholders/management and work on continuous improvement of the team.
Desire Candidate Profile:
This position requires a Bachelors or Master degree in Engineering
with 15+ years of experience in IT industry and 5+ years of experience in
managing large IT teams, projects and vendors. 3+ years of experience in US is
preferred. Prior hands on experience in IT Application
support/project-implementation/ Architecting solutions (preferably SAP) is
mandatory. Customer Service attitude and acumen is a must. ITIL and PMP
certifications are an added bonus. Very good written/ verbal communication
skill is a must. Should possess good business development skills for managing
internal stakeholders and external vendors. Experience in field of IT training
is a plus.
