Job Description:

In this position, you will be responsible for the design and development of complex printed circuit boards and/or subsystems for Intel architecture mobile and atom platforms for validation of processors and chipset. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Performing feasibility studies, technology development, technical analysis, defining implementation, detailed board design and documentation
Overseeing component selection, place and route, bring-up, debug, verification and platform support
Opportunities exists to define product features, influence and interface with processor development, chipset development, silicon validation, and product development teams
Interfacing with other groups and key stakeholders such as system architects, marketing, CAD, firmware (FW) and driver development, materials management, manufacturing, external vendors and customers

Desire Candidate Profile:

You must possess a relevant Bachelor's degree or a Master's degree with 6 - 8 years of board design experience. You must have a thorough knowledge of board design process and competency in industrial CAD toolset for Printed Circuit Boards (PCB) design such as Cadence.

Additional qualifications in all or some of the following areas is also desired
Good understanding on Signal integrity, Power delivery concepts
Good communication skills, attention to detail, ability to work within a diverse team and good customer orientation skills
Understanding of Board Tape Out process, DFM and DFT aspects of High Density Board Assembly
Know the PCB assembly process involving Reflow and Wave soldering and boards having assemblies on both sides
Good understanding of Fabrication process of multi-layer PCBs and HDI PCBs
