Job description:

Monitoring and troubleshooting Volvo network devices across the globe and ensure continuous productivity.

Good analytical, trouble-shooting skills in the area of technical fault isolation and rectification
Analyze the issue, identification of problem, troubleshoot and resolve cases within the set target

Provide technical solution on resolving the cases within service monitoring.

Provide support services for daily Operations in terms of technical as well process wise

Come out with innovative ideas which can really help to reduce human error or work effort in day to day operations

Should be keen in taking up the responsibilities, maintaining 24x7 operations and support systems

Willing to work on 24/7 rotational shift basis


Roles and Responsibilities:

Work as a network engineer and manage Volvo network devices across the globe.

Analyze the issue reported, identify problem areas, devise and work with team members to enhance quality of service and prevent future issues.

Meet the resolution/escalation target set on monthly basis

Escalate the events/incident to 2nd level team in time of the problems that cannot be solved by within the scope of L1 engineer

Fault handling and escalation (identifying and responding to faults on networks, joint investigation and fixing the issue with vendor)

Carry out event and incident localization/resolution/escalation in accordance with given instructions

Contribute as a team member by performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

A Engineering graduate in  Computer Engineering / Information technology

Have at least 2 to 4 years of working experience in NOC environment.

Good understanding in basics of networking

Should have a valid CCNA certification

Hands on experience in troubleshooting cisco routers/switches

Should have knowledge in routing protocols (RIP,IGRP,EIGRP,OSPF)

ITIL Possess knowledge (Events/incidents and problem) management
