You will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining Siebel Life Sciences product (Siebel Clinical Trial Management System) using industry-standard technologies. Our components are developed using C++, SQL, Siebel tools, web technologies and industry leading RDBMS as the back end. Duties and Responsibilities
Work with product managers to solidify requirements
Translate requirements into technical design and author design specification documents
Develop and deliver high quality, unit-tested code
Work with documentation and quality control groups to deliver well documented, high quality products
Maintain existing products by developing and testing patches
Work with customers and support personnel to diagnose and fix issues
Provide documentation, training materials, and technical assistance to product managers and support personnel
 Mentor junior developers to make them successful in their job

Skills required

Computer Science or Engineering degree from a Tier 1 or Tier 2 college
years or more software development experience in developing enterprise applications with key focus on quality, performance and scalability
Strong verbal and written English language communication skills
Proven application of sound engineering practices during all phases of the development cycle: specification, design, implementation, test/debug, documentation, rollout, maintenance
Strong track record in delivering complex, high quality software to production users in a timely fashion
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Expertise in most of the following technologies:
Extensive development experience in C++
Development experience in XML technologies (XML, XSD, XSLT etc.)
Web services (REST, SOAP) development experience
Working experience in Agile Scrum methodology
Object-oriented analysis and design
Relational database design and strong SQL knowledge, knowledge of industry leading RDBMS systems.
Experience with Siebel Tools
Working experience in on-demand application's deployment, security, performance, scalability area

Experience in the following areas is desirable
Knowledge and experience in application deployment and best practices
Working experience of rules engine
Working experience in workflows
Pharmaceutical industry background
Working Knowledge on development tools
