Description

In this position, you will be joining the IAG/DCSG/CSIG Communication Infrastructure Division (CID) Platform Application Engineering Team and will be responsible for technical support of CID Tier 1 customers, worldwide support of launched and pre-launch CID platforms, and collateral development/maintenance for existing CID processors and chipsets, targeted for the telecommunication and network market. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

Responsible for product design-in, system power on, debug and validation support of customer hardware platform designs
Establishing a technical trusted advisor relationship with key CID customers
Answering customer technical questions during the design enabling and design-in phase of the platform
Perform schematic and layout review for customer design
Providing technical training to Customers, Intel Field Application Engineers and Distributor-FAE's
Participating in cross functional customer teams with the goal of maximizing market segment share with key CID customers
Responsible for the generation and maintenance of product collateral
Proactively influence CID product line feature set and collaterals with key customers' inputs

Qualifications
 You should possess at minimum a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering with over 6 years of related Platform Hardware Design, Applications Engineering and/or IA Processor & Chipset Validation experience. Additional qualifications include:
Fundamental understanding of Intel Architecture Processors and Chipsets
Design experience and working knowledge of Intel Architecture systems, chip sets, or processors
Experience with BIOS, low level programming and run time control tools ie: ITP or JTAG
Strong verbal communication and/or technical writing skills, both in Chinese and English
Good interpersonal and presentation skills
Good organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Ability to travel
Knowledge of PCI, PCI-Express*, DDR/DDR2/DDR3 memory interfaces, Intel Architecture Chipsets and
Microprocessor Architecture
Knowledge of platform testability architecture and tools ie: JTAG/BDSL and IBIST
Experience with power design, board power on debug and issue analysis/debug
Experience with system validation/debug, signal/power integrity, waveform capture, etc
Fundamental understanding of Intel Platform Advance Technologies a plus ie: AMT, VT, etc.
