Job Description
In this position, the individual will be responsible for validating
enterprise products and SanDisk Next Generation PCIe Products. The individual
will work with members of the Quality Assurance, Development, Customer Support,
and Program Management teams to assure quality with on time delivery.
Responsibilities:
Proficient in storage protocols such as SAS SATA, SCSI & FC
Proficient in test systems testing for PCIe based products
Experience with testing NVMe and SOP will be a plus
Develop and execute test cases
Understand Test suite and automate as required
Detailed reporting of test issues and escalation of issues as
required
Customer issue reproduction
Maintaining lab systems and test tools
Working closely with different teams within organization and tracking
bugs to closure
Writing Technical documents
Skill Sets:
Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical engineering
background
Scripting Language such as Python/Java (or similar scripting
language) is required
Expertise in Windows, Linux
3+ years experience in a test development role in storage and
embedded systems applications
Solid understand and debug Computer hardware
Solid understand and debug on storage hardware
Understand Software development Life Cycle is plus
Test certification is plus
Ability to analyze problem and work independently as required
Excellent verbal and communication skills
Strong inter-personal skills
Ability to achieve results in a fast moving, dynamic environment
Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
Critical thinking.
Education:
This position requires a Bachelors of Science degree, Master’s
Degree or PhD in Engineering, Applied Sciences, Computer Science or related
discipline degree or equivalent with 0-2 years of related experience.
Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale
