Joining JP Morgan Chase as a Business Analyst in International Consumer Banking presents a pivotal role where you'll spearhead the identification, enhancement, and creation of solutions aligned with our strategic objectives. Responsibilities of the position

Ø  Generate, craft, and analyze reports pertinent to Operations functions.

Ø Offer innovative solutions for process reengineering to address current bottlenecks and   identify areas primed for improvement.

Ø  Gather project or initiative requirements through various means such as interviews, document analysis, workshops, surveys, site visits, and detailed analyses of business processes, scenarios, tasks, and workflows.

Ø  Conduct thorough evaluation of information from diverse sources, resolving conflicts, and distilling high-level concepts into detailed insights, while discerning genuine user needs from surface-level requests.

Ø  Proactively engage and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to assess information requirements and functional needs.

Ø  Challenge and guide business units in refining their execution strategies, contributing to the development of effective processes and procedures.

Ø  Act as a pivotal link between the customer community, support teams, business units, and the development team to ensure smooth flow of requirements.

Ø  Develop comprehensive requirements specifications using clear, natural language and standard templates.

Ø  Work alongside developers and subject matter experts to shape the technical direction, weighing trade-offs between usability and performance.

Ø  Thoroughly document business rules, feasibility studies, and impact analyses to inform decision-making processes.

Desired Qualifications, Abilities, and Skills:

Ø  Over 12 years of comprehensive experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus of over 10 years in the banking industry, specializing in service, project management, or support.

Ø  Proficient in MS Office suite, particularly Excel and Access, with advanced skills.

Ø  Highly analytical mind-set, adept at investigating and resolving issues at their root cause.

Ø  Demonstrated understanding of at least one business function within the organization, coupled with a broader comprehension of other areas.

Ø  Sound knowledge of project lifecycle with experience in both functional and technical specification.

Ø  Strong analytical and time management capabilities essential, with a keen ability to decipher customer business requirements and translate them into practical application and operational needs.

Ø  Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, enabling effective interaction with diverse stakeholders, including executives, managers, and subject matter experts.

Ø  Exhibits strong organizational skills and thrives in environments with stringent timelines.

Ø  Displays a high level of professionalism in leadership roles and contributes actively to process improvement initiatives.
