In the role of a Qualcomm Hardware Engineer, your responsibilities encompass strategizing, conceptualizing, refining, validating, and examining electronic frameworks. This includes refining the efficiency of yield, circuits, mechanical structures, as well as Digital/Analog/RF/optical systems, equipment, and packaging. Additionally, you'll work on test systems, FPGA, and/or DSP systems to introduce cutting-edge, globally competitive products.

The selected candidate will assume responsibility for conducting IP Level Verification of Qualcomm Spectra Camera Sub Systems Modules within the next-generation Qualcomm product lineup. This position entails a comprehensive grasp of the intricacies of camera signal processing modules, involving verification at both the module and subsystem levels to accommodate advanced functionalities. The Engineer should demonstrate autonomy in overseeing the verification process of IP level modules from start to finish, incorporating ongoing improvements, and fostering collaboration with IP Verification, Design, and System leads.
Required Skills/Experience:
• A minimum of 8 years' experience in RTL design verification utilizing SystemVerilog/UVM and mainstream simulation tools (Essential)
• At least 2 years' experience in a technical leadership capacity, with or without direct reports
• Proficiency in power-aware simulation is highly advantageous
• Prior experience in camera verification is highly advantageous
• Mastery in achieving coverage closure, along with adept RTL debugging skills
• Expertise in SystemVerilog (SV) – UVM, assertions-based verification, and Direct Programming Interface (DPI)
• Familiarity with Firmware/emulation (e.g., Veloce) based verification and Gate Level Simulation (GLS)
• Knowledge of bus protocols such as AHB, AXI, and ARM-based system architecture
• Competence in Perl, Python, or a comparable scripting language
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a strong aptitude for verification tasks.
