 Description
 Job Description: To provide direct communication with the customer on a regular basis for all SW Evaluation needs.
To provides SW training, Provides onsite SW support relating to SW releases.
To take over the SW stack BSP + preloaded applications
To understands the Customer development environment in which X86 is being used.
Understands the Customers deviations from the planned feature set aka customer SW requirements.
Provides SW tasks estimates (needed for the above deviation) ;risks and efforts associated with each.
Provides resource estimation for each of the above tasks; identifies gaps and provides the info to PM.
Tracks the SW progress SW tasks identified.
Sanity Test the builds and report issues
Understand Apps and concurrency of Apps
Be able to do initial debug and classification of test failures, then enabling software development teams to debug further.

Qualifications
You should possess a Bachelor of Engineering degree or a Master of Science degree, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering with 6+ years of experience in system software design and/or development on Linux. Expertise in C programming ( C++ programming experience, knowledge in OOP, Design Patterns would be a plus)Familiar with development in embedded OS.
Experience in wireless product development including telephony stack software, Audio framework and connectivity software [GSM, GPRS, EDGE, WCDMA, BT, Wi-Fi, GPS]
Experience in debugging complex system issues across the stack including drivers, telephony, firmware, as well as testing skills
Knowledge of wireless software architecture and standards
Strong communication and interpersonal skills required
Be able to work in a multi-cultural multi-site environment
Additional Skills Knowledge of GSM, GPRS, EDGE, WCDMA.
Knowledge and experience in Video Telephony, MMS, WAP, Graphics, USB, HLOS
Knowledge in Linux and Android is a plus
Desired skills:
Fluency in English language (written/spoken) a definite plus.
Experience working with international companies with engineering operations in Asia.
