Job Description
Define and develop the
Validation Architecture and Use Cases for Platform Level Validation for the
Tablet Products. Define and drive the Validation strategy to ensure the Product
level Validation coverage. This requires working with multiple engineering teams
and other Vertical Competency teams. Drive the requirement analysis and mapping
of Product Use cases with Sub systems. Define and Implement Validation methodologies across multiple technical domains of the product. Improve
productivity and efficiency through automation.
Work with Architecture team to
define the Performance and Power requirements and coverage analysis. Mentoring
the Validation Engineers. Work with cross Geo internal teams and customers as
required to understand and collect the Validation requirements. Work with our
customers and drive the synergy between customer Validation and coverage needs
with the internal Validation teams.
Work with the Design teams as
the interface from Validation
Desired Profile
Validation experience in
product/platform validation primarily with embedded systems environment
preferably for a Mobile /Tablet or any other Multimedia Products. Should have
domain expertise and hands on experience in at least one or two of the key
domains like Multimedia, Comms etc. Should have proven track record of playing
a Validation architect role from definition to launch for a couple of Products.
Should be hands on technically and should have good understanding of debug
Processes, tools. Should have very good understanding of OS Concepts, driver S/W
and Applications working on Windows. Experience in System level Power and
Performance Validation. Should have hands on experience in defining the test
Automation framework, good Programming/debug skills is very important.
Should have a Masters in CS/EE
and at least 12-15 years relevant experience
