Job Description
Infineon Specific ASIC Design system (Full-custom & Semi-custom
flows, library IPs) Testing
Development, implementation & maintenance of Integration tests for
the Infineon internal ASIC Design System including full-custom blocks,
Semicustom blocks, library IPs (for the various EDA tools)
Development & implementation of Interoperability tests for the
design flow components
Generation of test cases covering all use-cases & design
scenarios, in coordination with the flow owners/developers
Develop custom utilities based on different EDA tools to process data
and automate different steps in the design system test process
Ensuring compliance with all Infineon Quality/Process practices in
ASIC flow testing
Understanding the requirements & specifications of various ASIC
flows and implementing them through test cases
All the described areas of responsibility are Full responsibility
Role : Individual Contributor
Expertise in benchmarking, testing and/or deploying EDA tools in ASIC
Design Flow (Semi-custom & full-custom)
Working (hands on) knowledge of Linux OS and Unix Shell & PERL
scripting.
Expertise in development environment/test environment automation using
scripting
Ability to drive alignment meetings across sites with strong
interpersonal skills.
Exceptional Communication skills as the job demands, multiple
interfaces
Good team player in a multi-site work environment
Working knowledge with load sharing systems like LSF, CM tools
(especially Clearcase(Unix) /Design sync)
