Job Description:
Software Engineers conduct or participate in multidisciplinary
research and collaborate with design, layout and/or hardware engineers in the
design, development, and utilization of productivity enhancement layout tools
and design rule checkers, electronic data processing systems software.
Determines computer user needs, advises hardware designers on machine characteristics
that affect software systems such as storage capacity, processing speed, and
input/output requirements, designs and develops compilers and assemblers,
utility programs, and operating systems. Responds to customer/client requests
or events as they occur. Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal
education, judgement and formal software process.
Desired Profile
You should possess a minimum of a Bachelor of Engineering degree or a
Bachelor of Technology degree with 4-5 years of work experience, or a Masters
degree with 2-3 years of work experience.
Must Have Skills:
Hands on experience on Linux/Windows/Other OS Graphics driver.
Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Sound technical fundamentals of Computer Architecture, Operating
System, PC internals and the graphics subsystem (WDDM model)
Working knowledge of C and/or C++.
Strong Decision making and problem solving abilities.
Demonstrated ability to drive and own Technical activities to enable
Intel OEM customers.
Demonstrated ability to create Technical collaterals and whitepapers
Passion to on work with customers (OEMs).
Stakeholder and conflict management skills.
Desired Skills:
Knowledge of Intel Processor Graphics
Knowledge of graphics components like display, 3D (DirectX or OpenGL),
video.
Hands on Experience on Gfx Driver Development/Validation.
