Specialist for IP Benchmarking
Working Experience: 6-12 Years

Physical Design Specialist IP Benchmarking
Benchmark the quality of IP used
for Qualcomms designs. Implement a variety of designs with varying IP to
determine optimum usage and methodology.
Analyze IP from multiple vendors.
Evaluate the benefits and trade-offs inherent in IP offerings and guide their
usage.
Work with multiple design teams to
analyze and debug issues related to IP.
Skills/Experience: 5 to 12 years
of experience in Physical Design flows in advanced processes with exposure to
IP design and benchmarking.
Ability to take complex designs
from Synthesis to GDS while tracking power, performance and area trade-offs.
Good understanding of IP quality and design, particularly standard cells and
memories. Ability to relate design performance to IP parameters and
methodology.
Good understanding of CMOS digital
circuits.
Proficiency with Synopsys IC
Compiler and Mentor Graphics Olympus tool suites.
Experience in Perl, TCL and shell
scripting is needed.
Excellent interpersonal &
analytical skills with ability to work independently
