Responsibilities:-
Recruit,
manage, mentor and professionally develop a team of consultants
Manage
utilization goals to ensure performance against plan
Employ
sound expense management guidance and practices tied to team financial spending
objectives
Provide
support and guidance to consultants on technical, delivery and operational
issues
Conduct
regular 1-on-1 sessions with team members and provide relevant feedback and
updates to team members and upper management
Perform
tactical team management activities as required including timesheet approval,
coordination of team meetings, completion of HR related tasks and planning of
team events
Develop
solid relationships with key colleagues in all functional areas across the
organization
Review
and approve project proposals (scope, level of effort estimates and schedules)
Develop
and maintain positive relationships with key client stakeholders to ensure
client satisfaction. This includes but is not limited to quarterly business
reviews and client visits.
Serve
as second point for client escalations, after the team-lead (if relevant)
Report
client engagement status and other relevant business metrics to upper
management on a regular basis
Represent
Consulting team at conferences, industry events and trade shows. Seek out
speaking engagements to promote and brand professional services
Perform
end of quarter reconciliation activities as required
Make
final determinations on process for staffing consulting engagements and support
RMO function efficiency
Develop
and implement delivery processes to improve engagement efficiency, increase
productivity and mitigate risk
Contribute
to the development of strategic goals and planning of the Consulting
organization
Execute
annual performance review processes for team members to promote consultant job
satisfaction and professional growth
Develop
and nurture reciprocal relationship with upper management
Consistently
maintain team morale, especially in times of change
Requirements:-
BS
degree in Computer Science (or equivalent), Advanced degree preferred
9+
years business intelligence / web analytics /
experience or equivalent industry experience
2+
years exceptional people management experience,
2+ years project management experience
Strong
leadership skills including the ability to develop, influence and motivate a
team to maximize results
Exceptional
written and verbal communication skills; ability to interact and communicate
with all levels of an organization both internally and externally
Ability
to lead, collaborate, triage and make decisions in a fast paced, changing
environment
Strong
client service orientation; demonstrated ability to build effective working
relationships with client stakeholders
Ability
to translate client/business requirements into business solutions and
successfully position with clients
Demonstrated
proficiency in team management and consulting delivery including financial
management
Excellent
analysis and problem solving skills

In-depth
knowledge in one or more of the following subject matter areas preferred:
business intelligence, Web analytics, optimization, digital asset management,
search and/or content management and related industry best practices
